Hallmarks
For 700 years four hallmarks have been the traditional guarantee of the purity of sterling silver in this country. They guarantee that each piece marked is genuine sterling silver of 92.5% purity. In addition, the marks record the name of the maker, the date of manufacture and the place of origin.
The hallmarks are applied by The British Assay Office. Before applying the marks, each piece of silver needs to be tested or "assayed" to ensure its purity. All Veritas sterling silver carries the British hallmark.
Engraving and Embossing Leather
A unique way to personalise a gift is to engrave or emboss a name, initials or a logo. Engraving and embossing charges can vary according to the number of items required, but for individual and small orders the following prices apply:
To engrave a logo, a name or initials on silver - £15.00 per item plus VAT.
To set up a new logo - £80.00 plus VAT
To blind or gilt emboss a logo, a name or initials on leather - £5.00 per item plus VAT
To create a new logo blocking die - £80.00 plus VAT
Delivery
There is a standard delivery charge of £5.00 to cover postage and packing for individual items within the UK.
Deliveries of volume orders are subject to quotation and may vary according to the weight, destination and means of carriage.
Corporate Discount Pl;icy
Companies and institutions can take advantage of the significant corporate discounts we offer on Volume orders. There is an immediate corporate discount of 15% on any corporate order of 50 pieces.
For volume orders of more than 50 units, ask one of our Account Managers to give you an instant quotation for both the product and the engraving. Veritas is one of the most competitive suppliers of prestigious corporate gifts and is happy to provide competitive quotes against any similar product offered by a comparable company.
Gift Wrapping and Bespoke Boxes
Part of the pleasure of receiving a gift comes with the anticipation of un-wrapping an exquisite package. All Veritas gifts are gift wrapped free of charge and beautifully presented in our distinctive Veritas purple box tied with sky blue ribbon.
Veritas can offer your company bespoke gift boxes in your own corporate colours (by pantone reference) and your own logo or crest. Custom Design boxes are priced from as little as £1.50 per box. Bespoke packaging can help you create your own highly original and exclusive range of corporate gifts. We will provide you with colour visuals at no cost to illustrate how your packaging will look in advance of you making a decision. The quality of our custom made boxes is second to none and reflects the quality of our own packaging.
Payment
You can pay for your order by cheque, BACS, Visa or Mastercard. All orders under £100.00 must be settled by credit card.
For payment by invoice our terms are 30 days from the invoice date. All prices include VAT | |
